Italy Tour 2010 – Squad Announced

Having seen 4 weeks of league action & games against Leeds Futsal, East Coast have announced thier squad to tour Tuscany in July and this includes 5 new players, 4 from the East Riding and local to the league, in Bridlington.  This includes Saturday Seabirds prolific striker, and All Stars player, Jamie Osborne and 6ft plus keeper Nick Van Heerden, from East Riding College.

The tour is part of East Coast’s preperation for the National League Play off’s later this year.  The tour takes place 8th – 13th July 2010 and will feature 3 or 4 games.  East Coast plan to base in Pisa.

As part of the build up for the National league qualifiers East Coast Futsal Club have announced plans to tour Italy in July this year.

The team will travel to the Tuscany region and look to play 3 or 4 games against quality opposition to learn, become better and give us a better opportunity to get into the Futsal National league this time around.

We toured Dublin last year and realsied how much can be learn from playing teams at a higher level with international players in. Italy will be another step up and we are excited things are coming together. The lads will gel on the trip, enjoy themselves but come back with new ideas and a determination to have a team in the area represented at the highest Futsal standard in England!
