Crewsadors & Tranmere first up

East Coast Futsal will travel to Manchester on the 2nd October to play newly promoted Crewsadors in the first FA Futsal National league game of the 2011/12 Futsal Season.

Crewsadors beat Team Northumbria 6 v 5 in the playoff game after being 1 v 5 down at one point!

East Coast then take on Tranmere Victoria on the 16th October in the teams first home game. This promises to be an enthralling encounter after the 10 v 7 scoreline in the league las season and then unbelieveable 1 v 1 draw in the FA Futsal Cup.

Club ready for Fa Cup

East Coast Futsal Club are going through final preparations ahead of the FA Cup, at Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Sheffield on Saturday.

It is the first time the Club has been involved in the FA Cup and only 2 players in the squad have FA Cup experience.

The team are in arguably the hardest group with seasoned Futsal team Tranmere & BUCS finalists Team Northumbria.

With Middlesbrough most likely opponents in the stage final it is sure to be an exciting day of Futsal action for all involved.

 

East Coast set for Tranmere Test

Sunday 28th November sees East Coast Futsal take on Tranmere Futsal at the Bonus Arena, Hull.

Tranmere are arguably one of the most successful teams in the country coming 2nd only 2 years ago and finishing 3rd in the North division last year.  Tranmere’s Ed Bryers scored against East Coast for Liverpool in last years play offs but the teams have yet to meet head to head.

Tranmere manager, Neil Thompson, has driven the game in this country for many years and Tranmere have played the likes of sporting Lisbon Futsal team.  It is sure to be a test for the young East Coast team!

Both teams come into the game off the back of a defeat so getting off the ,ark will be key for both clubs.

Bonus Arena to host Futsal

East coast Futsal Club have announced that the team will play at the huge Bonus Arena, Hull for the forthcoming 2010/11 Futsal National League Season.

The club kick off away at Middlesbrough 21st November with the first home game against Tranmere Victoria 28/11/10. All the home games will kick off 12pm, with venue available 11.30am onwards.
